My Home Before & After Page 1

The house had it's charm, although showed a lot of signs of neglect.  Little did I know when I signed those title papers how much damage couldn't be seen with the naked eye.

The staircase to the 2nd floor turned out to have a landing with about 5'6" of clearance.  I couldn't get  my bedroom furniture up them.  So I made a little change.

The Living Room still needs to have some drywall repaired before it can be painted.  When I have more money I hope to build a REALLY large mantel and bookcases on either side of the fireplace.

The stained glass windows are original from 1926 and in no way give me the creeps like in Amityville Horror.

My kitchen is not the gargantuan type popular in today's new homes, but it is perfect for me.  I especially like the indoor grill on the stove.

The dining room still needs to have the electrical outlets extended so I can fit plates on.
The previous electrician did not take into consideration the depth of the wainscotting.

I wasn't sure I would like my choice of aquamarine paint, but it turns out
I love it.
